Fall of Representation in Bilbao

I think all these curves in today's architecture are really cool. From the beginning, I liked the fact that I could not read the space of the Guggenheim in Bilbao through the help of x, y and z. There is not much logic there, which I personally associate with all these representational structures that western societies enjoy being a part of. No orientation of this kind there. I am sure this is one of the reasons the Guggenheim building is so popular. Another reason is a fresh location on a no-man's land. It feels good, doesn't it, and it has spectacular vistas.
